This Privacy Policy explains how Quote Rave ("we," "us," "our"), operated by EPAC Ltd, collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using Quote Rave, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, and phone number when you create an account, either as a client or a contractor.

Project information: details you provide about a home improvement project — work type, room, description, and any photos you upload — used to generate estimates.

Payment information: processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your full card number, and we don't have access to it — Stripe handles that securely on our behalf.

Usage data: a device identifier for anonymous (non-account) use, so we can apply usage limits fairly before you create an account.

Communications: if you contact support, we keep a record of that correspondence.

2. How We Use Information

To generate project estimates and connect clients with contractors
To process payments and manage subscriptions or credit purchases
To send account-related emails (verification codes, quote notifications, receipts)
To send marketing communications, but only if you've opted in
To maintain the security and integrity of the Service
To improve and troubleshoot the Service

3. How We Share Information

When a client accepts a quote and submits contact details, that information is shared with the relevant contractor so they can follow up and schedule the work — that's the core function of the Service.

We share information with service providers who help us operate: Google Firebase (hosting, database, authentication), Stripe (payments), and Anthropic (AI-generated estimates — project descriptions are sent to generate pricing, not associated with your identity by the AI provider).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Quote Rave, our users, or the public.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and project information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

5. Your Choices

You can opt out of marketing emails and texts at any time — via the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by updating your preferences in your account settings.
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
You can request that we delete your account and associated data, subject to any legal retention requirements.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage (not tracking cookies) to remember your login state, theme preference, and anonymous usage counts. This data stays on your device and is used only to operate the Service.

7. Children's Privacy

Quote Rave is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
